The Sloppy Cube is a cubic shape-mod of Melty D suggested by David Tzur. The dihedral angle between axes is 87 degrees. This makes the cube look sloppy, even though it is highly accurate and all faces are identical. As analysed by Bram Cohen, Melty D is a fascinating puzzle to get scrambled. Modding it into a cube makes it a bit more accessible to the general cubing public.

With best moulding techniques, we have the cube in highly precised and accurate. 

This sloppy-looking Rubik's-like puzzle is extremely hard to solve, and even to scramble. So the slogan of this puzzle is "this puzzle is so difficult, that most people cannot even scramble it".
