The LanLan Grid Skewb is originally called Mental Block. It is invented by Tony Fisher in 1996.
It is a Skewb variation, parts are extended only. No truncation of the original parts.
If we follow the same logic, but apply to a 3x3x3 rhombic dodecahedron, we will get a Case cube.
